1. I was skeptical because of the price, and mind you it’s only been installed for a week at the time of this review.... but the positive reviews urged me to try.
I’m a 46 year old fat girl, I do know how to use tools but still, I was apprehensive. When 2 guy “friends” who said they’d do it for me weren’t coming through I finally watched some YouTube videos and decided to go for it! It took longer to get the old one off than to install this one.
It is really quiet! And seems to do the job just fine. I’m so happy that I overcame my doubts and went for this disposal. So pleased!
2. Perfect replacement for our Badger 5 - didn't have to refit any of the pipes it just fits right in, and takes less room. It is quieter than the Badger 5 and the installation was straight forward.
The flange in the sink does make it drain a bit slow due to the small hole but that can easily be fixed.
3. This disposal bolts right up to my badger three bolt mounting. the old leaky unit comes off with a clockwise rotation of the mounting flange. then the new unit goes right in with a counterclose wise rotation of the mounting collar. looks like a quality unit. fired right up after easy install. replaced my 1/3 HP with this 1/2 HP.
comes complete with everything you'll need for a successful install except plumbers putty.
